“In Korea we focus more on intangible goods than on the tangible”

Ki-Seok Kim analyzed the impact of education on the economy and said it was a basic tool for overcoming poverty. Kim illustrated his words with the example of his own country, South Korea, which in the space of fifty years has managed to become an economic power thanks to education.

«We must tell countries to work to guarantee education for young people»

“In 1958 Korea was at the same level as Ghana in the field of education; studies show that it is now at a level similar to Japan, Finland or the United States”

“Transformation and education are key factors in overcoming poverty; thanks to them, South Korea is no longer a poor country”

“Young people must believe in innovation and aspire to overcome difficult situations through it; young people must be convinced they can do it”

“In Korea we focus more on intangible goods than on the tangible”
