Biography of Luisa Alemany:

When she decided to leave school at the age of 13, Luisa Alemany could little imagine that she would be resuming her studies one day with such enthusiasm. After graduating from vocational training school in the metalworking branch and working as an apprentice in the Getafe factory of CASA (EADS), where she remained for over eight years, she became aware of how important studies are to have access to a world of opportunities. Having obtained and Honors Doctorate in Economics and Business, she is now a professor of Finance for Entrepreneurs and directs the ESADE Entrepreneurship Institute. Luisa Alemany is doing research at present on how an early education in entrepreneurship influences the attitudes of children and teachers. Project coordinator of the Prince of Girona Foundation White Paper on Entrepreneurship, in preparation.
