Sergi Mateu is a graduate in Dramatic Art at the Barcelona Theater Institute. He has been working professionally as an actor since 1977 in the theater, in motion pictures (including numerous international productions), and in television. He has also worked as a drama teacher, a playwright, a translator and a director. Just now he is touring with the musical-monologue Tolstoi- Kreutzer-Beethoven on the last days of the great Russian writer Leo Tolstoy, and he is also appearing in several TV series.
