A biologist and a member of the Spanish Olympic Rowing Team, since 1999 Teresa has been a participant in Spanish championships (obtaining over 15 gold medals), world championships (with 5 medals) and the Summer Olympics. She now rows for the Club Natació Banyoles and on the Spanish Rowing National Team and hopes to classify for the upcoming London Summer Olympics of 2012. In her facet as a biologist, she forms part of the University of Girona (UdG) team of researchers that is studying the relationship between bacterial flora and colorectal cancer.
