On 28 June, the Coma Cros Cultural Factory in Salt will host a workshop on Self-financed Communitiesaddressed to community leaders representing cultural minorities and the heads of associations and NGOs specifically invited for the occasion. This event is being run with the participation of Jean Claude Rodríguez-Ferrera, social entrepreneur of Ashoka International and speaker at the IMPULSA Forum 2012, and with the support of the charity Càritas Diocesana de Girona and the SER.GI Foundation. Self-financed Communities are those in which members make modest financial contributions towards providing credit to cover small but essential needs. The workshop aims to bring this experience closer to the participants and provide them with the tools to promote Self-financed Communities in Catalonia.
