One morning in 2004, tired of his job as an executive that no longer motivated him, he decided to leave everything behind and refocus his life with a project based on human relationships which would serve to share resources and contribute towards an economy for the common good. The result is Shareable, a platform for information, action and connecting people to share social transformation. Ten years after some intense entrepreneurial activity, Neal Gorenflo has helped create collaborative businesses and projects, he has acted as a consultant for the Institute for the Future and for Stanford University, and has written the books Share or Die: Voices of The Get Lost Generation in the Age of Crisis and Policies for Shareable Cities, the first guide to the collaborative economy.
