Xavier Verdaguer

Biography:

His first invention, at the age of 12 years, was a pluviograph that won the Joc de Ciència contest of Catalonia's public broadcasting network Televisió de Catalunya. Xavier Verdaguer is now an IT engineer and a technical architect with senior management studies at Stanford University (California, USA). He has launched several technological innovation companies (TMT Factory, BCN Media, Integra Interactive) in the last 12 years and lives at present in Palo Alto (California), where he founded Innovalley Inc., a company that develops intelligent clothing. He is also the owner of several technology patents and maintains technology transfer agreements with various universities. Junior Chamber International Catalonia named him Best Creative Entrepreneur in 2010.
