Message of H .R. H., the Prince of Asturias and of Girona

Girona plays host to us once again as we devote ourselves to youth: for the second year in a row, the Prince of Girona Foundation presents its IMPULSA Forum with hope and satisfaction.

On this occasion we will be reflecting on the various ways in which enthusiasm, education and entrepreneurial initiative allow society to be transformed, developing the best ideas and making them into something of value for all people. These three concepts are fundamental to our future. Young people from our country and from around the world will be able to show us what they have achieved. Experts and knowledgeable figures from different places will be discussing these same topics. Indeed, more than 400 young people will be sharing their ideas and projects for the future with people who have experience, responsibilities and resources.

I am sure that we will all be enjoying every minute of this second edition of the IMPULSA Forum. In its endeavor to help to improve our young people's lives, the Prince of Girona Foundation seeks to arouse in all of them the spirit that will lead them to become entrepreneurs in any activity to which they may devote themselves. It is the spirit, in short, that will lead them to offer the added value that only they can provide.

The opportunity to share this day with all of you is a privilege for which I am grateful. As the Honorary President of the Prince of Girona Foundation, I welcome you and I encourage you to follow today's sessions with attention, to learn from the messages that are expressed, and to share the values of this Forum.

Allow me to extend to you my warmest greeting.

Felipe, Prince of Asturias and of Girona
