The IMPULSA Forum brings us together again in Girona for the fourth year running. Each year the Prince of Girona Foundation draws initiatives and people from all over the world with the aim of continuing its mission to identify the conditions that will turn thousands of enterprising, creative and innovative young people into a source of progress and social transformation. The previous edition focused on collaboration. We learnt that working together across different disciplines, different sectors, different generations... accelerates society’s capacity to transform itself. in this year’s Forum the organisers ask us to think about how this collaboration can be put into action: by generating IDEAS, identifying OPPORTUNITIES and promoting ATTITUDES.

Young people are the very reason that the Prince of Girona Foundation was set up and their presence at the IMPULSA Forum is becoming greater and more active every year. Since 2012, a communication tool has been available to help them arrange numerous meetings with other young people and also with the many experienced professionals taking part in the Forum. Both juniors and seniors show us every year in girona their ability to become changemakers and commit to the future of our society. the participants of each new edition increase the size and reach of what we call the IMPULSA generation.

As Honorary President of the Prince of girona Foundation, I would like to encourage you to share your inspiration and your projects. This edition also includes various workshops that will allow smaller groups to work together on specific themes. all this, together with the interaction between the guest speakers and participants will, I am sure, help to accelerate the movement that will realise the interests of all of us taking part in the Forum.
