The World Technology Awards, which are awarded annually in New York, reward the most significant advances in innovation, technology, arts and sciences. uWhisp has been awarded at the 2012 edition in the category of Marketing & Communication.

On previous occasions had received this award, among others, the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, in 2009, and the founders of Google, Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 2003.

The application to transmit voice messages through social networks was developed this year, and the founders of uWhisp, who participated in the Forum IMPULSA, took the opportunity to exchange views and show his development to David Karp, Tumblr founder and also a speaker at IMPULSA 2012.
